MyChart is now available at Texas Children’s Pediatrics, Texas Children’s Hospital and Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women. Any patient family at those locations can enroll in MyChart by going to the practice or clinic and request a proxy account. Parents or guardians can request proxy access to their children’s accounts. Yes. This is called Proxy access and allows parents or legal guardians of minor children (age 18 years and younger) access to sections of their child’s medical records..
Proxy access can also be used by legal guardians or caregivers with Durable Power of Attorney for healthcare of dependent adults access to sections of their loved ones medical record.

This information would not appear in the correct health record and could potentially jeopardize medical care. No, your activation code is not your MyChart username or password. You will use this code only once to log into MyChart for the first time.
